It turns out that Jesus used logic a couple of times and didn’t think that every opinion was of equal value. So, according to Douglas Groothuis, associate professor of philosophy at Denver Seminary, “George W. Bush’s show-stopping assertion was correct. Jesus was a philosopher and a great one.” Wow, it’s a lot easier to be a great philosopher than I thought — you don’t even have to exist!!! But I’m convinced. I’m going to start teaching the New Testament in my Intro to Philosophy course.
