Pray and Die Anyway

Ah, the divine joy of “Killing Kids Slowly and Painfully 101″: Prayers for Cody Help Family Through Difficult Time

At age 6 Cody was like every other boy his age. He played tee ball, loved the Astros and, in spite of his shy and gentle nature, he made those around him laugh. After complaining of hip pain, every parent’s worst nightmare came true. Cody was diagnosed with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. The doctors offered no hope of survival from the first day of the Johnson’s journey. But Mike and Keely are not the type of parents that base truth on doctor reports, but rather on God. [...] When Cody was told about his cancer he said, “I want the worst kind of cancer there is so that when God heals me, everybody will know it was God who did it.”

And Cody, a nice 6-year old boy who could have had a very good life, is now dead. Praise God.

  2. Keely Johnson:

When I put my son’s name in the search area and this web site came up, I was so disturbed.

Ma’am, you were disturbed way before that.

My name is Keely Johnson and you printed something about my son, Cody without my approval. Yes, we do believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and yes Cody did also. Cody is not dead, he is very much alive in Heaven with the Lord Jesus and because I have accepted Jesus as my savior also, I will see Cody again.

If Cody believed, at age 6, in Jeebus, it was only because he took your word for it. As sorry as I am for your loss, Cody is dead, period. The sooner you come to grips with that, the sooner you can get on with your life- with happy memories of your son tucked away for the bad times.

Please Please remove this story of my son from your web site. It hurts me deeply, can you have no feelings for a mother who misses her son deeply. Please remove this immediately. Your words hurt me deeply.

    The truth does indeed hurt.

One day you will stand before God and give account of what you did and said here on Earth…

No, ma’am, I will not. I, alone, am responsible for everyone of my actions- good or bad.

and I also will. My words are: I STILL BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST AND HIS HOLY WORD.

That’s not something to brag about. It wasn’t very nice of Jeebus to take your son.
And it gives me great comfort in knowing I will see Cody again. Now remove this story from your web site now!!!
    Thank you, Keely Johnson.

I am such a hardcore atheist that I can make fun of a grieving idiot. Come on, come on, strike me down, motherfucker!
