Theocratic Bullshit

27 March 2005 by Bob

Well, down here in Flori-duh (in addition to lots-o-sun and Jeb), we got us Dennis Baxley who represents District 24 in Ocala. Just like The Blues Brothers, Baxley is on a Mission from God. Of course, this “mission” reveals itself in other important ways, such as fighting Leftist-Totalitarian-Dictator-Professors who have the audacity to ask you to justify your beliefs. A faith-obsessed-xian-wacko legislator trying to pass bills to allow students to affirm their faith in a college classroom. This scares the (if I may) bajeezus out of me. And this is exactly why there needs to be a giant, insurmountable wall between government and religion.

  2. Rockstar:

If they have to teach the christian version of creation, we should make them include the Ancient Greek version too. Imagine how hillarious it would be when they tout Greek and Roman beliefs as “only myths”.

  3. Bubba:

Now all we need is for voters to get the right to sue grandstanding politicos and we’ll be set!.
