That is too funny. When I start quoting the bible to prove there is no invisible sky daddy, someone shoot me. Aside from the devil at the end, my favorite part is “those who claim [the bible] to be full of contradictions, simply do not understand it.” I really do feel sorry for these people sometimes…
I am torn between pity (I try not to talk religion with my folks, as they are terminally ill, so I figure if it makes them feel better and they are non-evangelical, then why not?) and anger (at the bible-thumpin god-pusher who wants to legislate his own particular belief set onto others) most of the time.
It’s a conundrum. Why are the god-folk so malcontent to just leave their religion in their place of worship? Why does it have to be crammed down everyone’s throats?
Jack Chick rules. If it were parody, he’d be a genius. Should we count it against him that he apparently is dead serious?

I had my first problem with Christianity as the result of these kinds of tracts. Honenstly, I was about 9 years old, and desparate to believe, really. I read one of these, and then started to wonder–So, if Hitler said that prayer right before he died, that would be all it would take? That doesn’t seem right! Why shouldn’t one just do what they wanted, and periodically say the appropriate prayer. I didn’t realize until later that that is what a lot of Christains do.
Why would you leave your beliefs simply in your place of worship??? It’s a lifestyle, not a hobby for cying out loud!!
These comics rock, by the way….
To XPians, becoming saved is not about “saying the right prayers”, it’s about belief and living out those beliefs. So, no Hitler would not have gone to heaven. Sheesh, learn a little about what you’re against, rather than following blindly. Comments like these make athiests look really dumb.

Yup, I love Chick comics. I enjoyed them when I was a puddin-headed Born Again, and I enjoy them even more now that I’ve shed all of that stuff. Go Jack!
