Report: 8M With Birth Defects Each Year
WASHINGTON Jan 30, 2006 — About 8 million children worldwide are born every year with serious birth defects, many of them dying before age 5 in a toll largely hidden from view, the March of Dimes says.
Enough said.

Of those 8 million something like 5 million are preventable. All of those good God fearing people who think life is sacred doing nothing.
Of course, now they are preventable. But turn the clock back, and you have the same problem. (Not that you didn’t already know that; but most people don’t think about that fact.)
