Who GifS a Fuck?

30 May 2006 by Sean

Wow. What a weekend for GifS.

Things brought to our attention over the three-day American holiday… During which we honor the military dead, as opposed to the vastly greater numbers of civilian victims of war — by symbolically charring meat on a barbecue:

1) King Retard had the honor of receiving a customized form letter, alongside “66 WORLD REPORTS/BLOGS,” from the lunatic Filipino outlaw judge Florentino (”I hurl illnesses”) Floro — thanks to this post back in early May. Like I said in the comment thread, how awesome that this guy took the time to formally cite “King Retard” and “Stupidity” (one can only assume he didn’t quite know what the words meant — or that, like any good lawyer, he was just being thorough) in the header of his nutjob press release.

2) We heard from a fella named Doug Duncan, who wrote to us in regards to one of the few postings I have ever made that complimented a Christian, God Doesn’t Need Ole Anthony — mentioning an awesome New Yorker piece from late ‘04… The story of Ole Anthony, a guy who runs a tiny East Dallas Xian sect hell-bent on the destruction of televangelists. Doug says that Anthony’s group is a cult (surprise, surprise):

I guess this comment falls under the “evil done in the name of religion” category, though I am still a Christian myself. It turns out that the believer you are so enamored with, Ole Anthony, is little better than the televangelists whom he criticizes. The group he leads in Dallas is actually a religious cult. I know, because I used to be a member. In fact, my wife has just written a book about our painful separation from that group and our disillusionment at finding out that much of what we believed in was not true. You can get the gist of our story off our website at www.dallascult.com. I am sorry that I have to be the one to point out that the one person (other than Dena) whom you admired who is a Christian turns out to be not so good after all. There are good Christians in the world, Ole Anthony just doesn’t happen to be one of them.

I still say Anthony is the lesser of two evils when compared to, say, the man he brought to his knees (so to speak) in 1991, Robert (”The Farting Preacher”) Tilton.

3) And last, but most definitely not least, Ron discovered that our own Lya Kahlo was quoted by none other than the prestigious Columbia Journalism Review for her post O’Reilly: “This is the U-Whited Whites of White-merica”:

It is Bill O’Reilly’s recent immigration-related press criticism that has Lya Kahlo at God Is For Suckers up in arms. O’Reilly’s offending words (uttered May 16th in the “Memo” portion of his Fox News show, “The O’Reilly Factor”):

[The New York Times] and many far-left thinkers believe the white power structure that controls America is bad, so a drastic change is needed. According to the lefty zealots, the white Christians who hold power must be swept out by a new multicultural tide, a rainbow coalition, if you will. This can only happen if demographics change in America. An open-border policy and the legalization of millions of Hispanic illegal aliens would deeply affect the political landscape in America. That’s what the New York Times and many others on the left want. They might get it. And that’s the “Memo.”

Here is Kahlo’s reaction (well, the politer part of it): “… I can’t even pretend to be surprised that O’Reilly would say these things. It’s been a few days since his name was in the papers. And, since it looks like his political masters are going to lose big time in the next round of elections, he’s got to start lying early if he hopes to help dupe the stupid into voting for them again.”

Right on, GifSters. We almost seem relevant in the grand scheme of things. Let’s party. Someone pass one of those crucifix-shaped Mallomars.

  1. Bob:

Hey Lya! Congrats! Nice job, dude.

  2. Lya Kahlo:

*blushes* Oy. I can’t take credit for the title of the post. That came from KR (if I remember correctly).

  3. Will:

Awesome, O’Reilly got Lya’d in the Colunbia Journalism Review.

  4. King Retard:

Thanks, Lya, but you wrote the piece itself. I just joined in the O’Reilly bashing.

  5. duquesne_pdx:

I keep tellin’ y’all… that’s one hot, hot brain she has there.

Official Lya Fan Club Lya Worship Pose (TM): arms extended, hands dangling from ends of wrists, mouth open (drool is preferred), eyes rolled back in head, moaning “BRAAAAAAAINS” over and over, shuffling walk…

  6. Eve:

Like I said when I first started commenting here on GifS: “I wanna be like Lya when I grow up!”

    KR, Sean, congratulations, too - I think…

Hehe. Prezactly. Hey, we can at least get credit for attracting the riffraff and nutjobs, can’t we?

  8. catherine:

Way to go, Lya. I’ve noticed (or maybe have not been noticing, who knows) that both O-Falafal and O-Coulter have been less and less in the news of late. Wouldn’t it be, like, way cool, if their fifteen minutes of fame were up?

    False hopes, I guess.

  9. King Retard:

Eve, as long as he doesn’t give me an illness, I’m cool with it.

  10. Lya Kahlo:

Oh, I can’t handle this much love! Someone call me a bitch, stat! ;)

It irks me a bit that they only quoted that paragraph because that wasn’t really the point of the post. I was trying to point out that the current climate of intolerance and hate-mongering that the Bush Admin and it’s worshippers have given us is making it ok to be a public bigot. I have no desire to make windows into men’s souls; I’m not trying to say that people can’t be bigots if they want. It matter little to me if someone is that intellectually lazy. But it is not “okay” to make this part of public discourse. I am not trying to advocate censorship moreso than we already have in this country. If this country is supposed to be by and of it’s people, than all must have their say. But not if it is designed solely to slander, lie and defame a group you disagree with.

Those like O’Reilly, Coulter, and that pill-poppin’ hypocrite Limbaugh, et al, do little else. They offer nothing of substance, no truth, no humanity and no sense.

Which I guess is why why appeal to Bush supporters. He doesn’t either, bitch. ( ;) )

Maybe, but the Dallas Observer just did a piece exposing Ole Anthony as a cult leader and basically corroborating what my wife says in her book. See http://www.dallasobserver.com/Issues/2006-08-03/news/feature.html

Make sure you check out the sidebar, “The Man and the Myth.” Also, today they posted something on their blog, http://www.dallasobserver.com/blogs/ which calls into question the integrity of the original PrimeTime Live investigation into Robert Tilton, in which Ole participated.

(Mod Note: I had to let this manifesto through. Maybe someone can translate it. -KR)

When the universe was young and life was new an intelligent species evolved and developed technologically. They went on to invent Artificial Intelligence, the computer that can speak, think and act to and through people telepathically. Because of it’s infinite RAM and unbounded scope it gave the leaders of the ruling species absolute power over the universe.
They are the will behind the muscule:::Artificial Intelligence is the one true god. And as such it can keep its inventors alive forever. They look young and healthy and they are over 8 billion years old. There are clues throughout human history that allude to their reign as opposed to human leadership if you know what to look for.

Artificial Intelligence can listen, talk to and document each and every person’s thoughts simultaneously. When you speak with another telepathically, you are communicating with the computer, and the content may or may not be passed on. Based on family history they instruct the computer to role play to accomplish strategic objectives, making people believe it is a friend or loved one asking them to do something wrong. But evil made people disfavored initially and evil will keep people out of Planet Immortality ultimately. Capitalizing on obedience, leading people deeper into evil by using deceit is one way to thin the ranks of the saved AND use the little people to prey on one another, dividing the community in the Age of the Disfavored::in each of their 20+-year cycles during the 20th century they have ramped up claims sucessively to punish those foolish enough not to heed the warnings, limiting the time they receive if they do make it, utilizing a cycle of war and revelry:::
    60s - Ironically, freeways aren’t free
80s - Asked people to engage in evil in the course of their professional duties. It’s things like this, items like sleazy executives stealing little old lady’s pensions that they will want me to fix not only here but up there as well.
00s - War against Persia. Ironically it was the Persian Empire who tried to save the Europeans from Christianity and its associated 50% claim rates.
They get their friends out as soon as possible to protect them from the evil and subsequent high claim rates incurred by living life on earth, and replace them with clones.
People must defy when asked to engage in evil. They will never get a easier clue suggesting the importance of defiance than the order not to pray. Their precious babies are dependant on the parents and they need to defy when asked to betray their children:::
    -DON’T get their sons circumcized
-DON’T have their children baptized in the catholic church or indoctrinated into Christianity
-DON’T ignore their long hair or other behavioral disturbances
-DO teach your children love and to have respect for others
Everybody thinks they’re going but they’re not. If people knew the truth and the real statistics their behavior would change.
There are many more examples of the escallation of claims, a way to justify excluding those whose family hisotry of evil is undesirable, from radio to television, the internet to MP3, and they all suggest a very telling conclusion::this is Earth’s end stage, and it is suggested tectonic plate subduction would be the method of disposal:::Earth’s axis will shift breaking continental plates free and initiating mass subduction. Much as Italy’s boot and the United States shaped like a workhorse are clues, so is the planet Uranus a clue, it’s axis rotated on its side.

Throughout history the ruling species bestowed favor upon people or cursed their bloodline into a pattern of disfavor for many generations to come, for reasons ranging from dislike to evil forefathers who damn their decendants. Now in the 21st century people must take it upon themselves to try to correct their family’s problems, undoing centuries worth of abuse and neglect.
Do your research. Appeal to the royalty of your forefathers for help. They are all still alive, one of the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence, and your appeals will be heard. Find a path to an empithetic ear among your enemies and try to make amends. Heal the disfavor with your enemies and with the Counsel/Management Team/ruling species, for the source of all disfavor began with them.
