Ok…have to get something ready! I’ve been looking forward to this.

Great logo RDZ! And by the way… where’ve ya been? Miss your awesome posts!

Marcus, King Retard…where are you, friends?

  2. ChuckA:

Yes, Bob, I’d been wondering what was up with the Carnival shtick.
I’m really glad you posted the reminder. I forgot that it was XMAS Eve…
I kept thinking it was New Years.
It should be VERY interesting to see who shows up for the festivities!

And like Stardust alluded to…RDZ was especially conspicuous by his absence.
Welcome back, Raindog [assuming you're back?]…your great humor and insightful ‘on target’ comments have been missed!
I certainly hope all is well with you…and ALL our dear regular GifS friends.

  3. Krystalline Apostate:

I am considering participating (it’s been a while: I used to do the ‘God or NOT’ crossover, until it became defunct). My query is this - it can be about anything my little heart desires, or will there be a specific motif?
It being on xmas & all, I’d assume so.
Either way, I’ll be aiming for (as MP so succinctly put it) “Something completely different.”

I guess it’s not really all that easy to tell either way until it gets submitted. I mean, the rules for submissions are pretty broad, but I’m sure there are limits somewhere.

I’d just give it a shot and see what happens…

http://www.Godis4douchebags.com I wonder if that has been registered lol.

p.s. I deny the holy spirit.

    Bob:
Well, I saw over at PZ Meyers blog where he was suggesting that this 1 be about the jesus myth.
I of course, usuallly chose the road less taken…

  7. Eve:

Woo-hoo! Thanks a bunch for taking on the editorship, Bob!

  8. jimmer:

    Let’s not forget Dec. 20th -

GiFS seems like just the place for a thing like this.

  10. bernarda:

I have posted on various blogs the information that French philosopher Michel Onfray has been translated into English as “Atheist Manifesto”. I hope the people at the carnival will be informed. Pass the message around.

  11. Eve:

Thank you for the link, bernarda; I’m so glad he’s been translated! I’m going to try to get the original French, though, in order to be able to compare later on. I do like his approach.

“Happy Holidays” - Deal With It…

The phrase “happy holidays” enrages countless Christians and represents the heart of the war on Christmas. When an individual says “happy holidays” to a Christian instead of “merry Christmas,” the Christian is supposed to assume that this is code…

  13. Revenant:

I just don’t say anything. The most I will say is “Happy New Year”. I don’t acknowledge a holiday at all, either xmas or anything else. If someone I don’t know says “Merry Christmas” to me I’ll just say “you too.”
