What kind of believers are they?

When the current crop of representatives say that impeachment is off the table and this is going on? I must conclude that the lot of them are guilty of complicity. Each of them with few exceptions have Kowtowed to the religious and their madness and superstitions. That includes the darlings of progressive America, Hillary and Obama.
So what kind of Xians are they? The Un-Kind.
What kind of Jews are they? The Un-Kind
What kind of representatives do we have? The Un-Kind
And what kind of believers are they , Really? The Un-Kind.
They are examples of the “God Sickness” in full bloom. They are void of any love or compassion. They lack even the most basic of societies graces. They are dooming themselves to the punishment fitting all those who give in to the madness of their disease. They really need to be put into protective custody and isolated from rational society. They have more in common with Osama in Laden than they do with any American. And they expect RESPECT?

Today’s news included more wonderful information about the selling of arms to various Middle Eastern countries; and giving more billions to Israel, etc.
I agree, Eve, that MOST of the “high on the hog” fat cats in the world are probably not true believers in the ‘Left Behind’ OR the Muslim equivalent scenarios. But with the example of our own manifestly selfish, stubborn, and arrogant ‘Decider in Chief’ having sent Americans into Iraq; causing the deaths of nearly 4,000 of our own troops, and by some even moderate estimates, upwards of more than 600,000 Iraqis killed, I can’t have very much faith in human intelligence…nor even remotely reasonable motives.
If there are religious zealots on the LOW end of the spectrum who can totally buy into sacrificing themselves for an insane promise of 72 afterlife virgin encounters…of which 9/11 is just the one, blatant example…there needs to be only ONE…HIGH level loony to even accidentally, or in a moment of extreme drug induced passion, push the closest available Nuclear ‘hot’ button.

I know the main stream press think it is out of bounds to ask presidential contenders specifics about their religious beliefs, but I really think it is America’s best interests to deny any believer of the Rapture the position of president. Xianity is a death cult. I got the phrase “death cult” from my dh, who was raised Catholic. Catholicism, otherwise known as The One True Church, is the foundation of xianity. Look at all the worship of the slaughtered and bloody body. The christ on the cross is the predominant symbol. “Bow to it. Genuflect your allegiance to it. Kiss its feet. Worship it!” Then there is the obsession with the tortuous lives and deaths of the various saints. The more gruesome their death, the more revered they become. And, don’t forget all of the self-inflicted punishment (self-flagellation anyone?)
